Payton Gwinn is a sophomore here at Mormon Trail and is described by one of her friends as hyper/energetic. Payton loves watching movies, hanging out with her friends, and eating. Her favorite food is tacos. If she could be anything in the world she would choose to be a celebrity, because they get paid a lot of money. Payton’s favorite sport is track because she loves running. Her goals for the year are to go to state for the 100 and 400 meter dash. When she gets older she plans to attend Iowa Central or Iowa State and become a teacher or a closed captionist. Payton’s favorite memory from high school was going TPing with Gracie and Angela in 7th grade and she tried to climb in the tree. She got stuck and the peed her pants. Payton is excited for the years to come and hopes to make more memories with her friends as she goes along.

We will be lining the streets Wednesday, October 28 to send the boys off in style. There will be a pep bus to take any fans to the game. The cost is $5 per person. Contact a booster club member about riding the pep bus if you would like to go. The Saints would love your support!
Super Saints finish Strong
What could be better than beating rival Lamoni 49-6 on Homecoming night? That’s just what the Saints did on Friday night. We had a great week leading up to the big win. There was amazing participation for dress up days. The senior class once again took first place in the float competition with their Super Saints float. Also coming up big were Homecoming Queen BreAnn Rhodes and King Joel Funk. Congratulations to the Saints for an awesome Homecoming. Come out and support our volleyball and football teams as they continue their winning ways. Go Saints!
